"SS Speedway" in Tampa Florida, a "dual sweeper" layout with hi-speed areas and technical infield sections. The new smooth track surface and the Central Florida sunshine made for hot summertime GT racing conditions.
Daytime temps were in the 75 to 80 degree range. Ipanema 45 shore slicks were used in all 5 minute qualifing sessions. Traction and tire wear were excellent
The afternoon saw 90 degree temps and our 50 shore slicks were used.
