| I tried the 1:8 scale on road radial tires from Ipanema and they're awesome.
No worries about ballooning up and they grip good too. I was running a OCM Evo with a 43/20 gear combo on a MMM V3, 5S Polyrc, 1515 2700kv. No more worries about the foam coming out of these tires.
I highly recommend Ipanema for high speed passes. |

Hello fellow GTE racers. I wanted to share some feedback regarding MY EXPERIENCE with the Ipanema wheels/tires. Today was the day I finally had an opportunity to test my new Ipanema purchase. We raced with the OC CIRCUIT crew and I must say that the tires are phenomenal.
NO SETUP changes were done to the car, just a change in tires which yielded instantaneous grip that lasted throughout the heat/main. It was very easy to drive the car fast with nice tight lines. The wear was also outstanding. I highly recommend others to try them. I'm certain you won't be disappointed! |

Was doing some testing today, which included tires. I won’t name any of the other names, but the Ipanema WIDE rears are a winner! Was the only tire that would lock down the rear. These are great tires, try a set WOW. |

I ran the Ipanema Warrior body at the Las Vegas race, and I have to say it handled very well. I was impressed with it, and it looked great streaking down the back straight.

Roger Garcia Maciel Location: Mexico, DF | At the GT World Championships, we had the opportunity to test and race with the Warrior body.The body fits together perfectly for GT1 and GT2 cars. It gives greater speeds on the straights and curves. Its design allowed us to just open vents in the windshield and side window without touching the back window and is very effective for cooling, as forward cap allows air to flow from the rear bodywork. Very highly recommended at a great price. |

I got the chance to use the new rear Ipanema tires. I qualified in second place also behind another racer that was using almost the same combination. I was using the regular 50 shore front tire (he was using 45s) and the new wider rear tire in 45 (the same as the TQ). The tires felt great and the balance of the car was excellent. The tires didn't fade or lose any traction due to heat or wear. I can't wait for the next race next month. Great new product. |

I tried the Warrior and lap times dropped. Then made some tuning adjustments and dropped lap time a little more. You shouldn't be disappointed with the body if you try it. |

The Blackhawk Warrior body shaved a few tenths off my lap times compared to the Ferrari body. Qualifying, my lap times were in the mid 18 sec range with the Ferrari. With the Warrior I had a bunch of low 18 sec laps along with a couple of laps in the high 17 sec. The Warrior gives me tons of steering and keeps my car planted on the race track. Just to give you an idea...........Last Saturday we were testing our cars at South Valley Hobby here in Utah. Temperature was around 25°F and the asphalt was wet due to light snow. Our cars were HOOKED UP with Ipanema 35 shore slicks in the rear and 40 shores in the front. Tell you what, it was amazing, did I mention the ground was wet and cold............... | |

Tech Adept | I ran the Ipanema 55 shore slick tires out here in Vegas this past Sunday for a club race. Ambient temps were 105+ degrees, track surface temps must have been even hotter....anyways, the Ipanema tires were on point!
I also have to mention the fact that they were an old set of tires as I have over 1 gallon on them! |

Ran the Ipanema Slicks today and was very impressed with the roll performance.
I switched to the Ipanemas, took a few laps to scuff them and then opened it up. I couldn’t put my finger on it until I ran out of gas on the straight the car rolled the entire length of the track into the sweeper and I was able to steer it close to the pit lane to investigate.
One guy asked if I had ceramic bearings, I thought I blew the tranny, but after a refill I noticed that I as able to drive harder into the corners and roll faster off throttle, carrying more speed into the corners. Can’t wait to check lap times....Pleasantly Surprised! |

My Ipanema Black Hawk transmission for GT2 came with 17 and 21 tooth pinions. Last weekend I put a 16t low gear on it and all I can say is WOW! It was a rocket out of the turns and worked perfectly.

Got to run my Ipanema transmission set up yesterday here in Vegas. All I gotta say is "YES" this is awesome.
The mod dropped in very nice, looks stock, shifts great, man I couldn't feel the shift, the car doesn't hit hard and throw you off, it just glides into 2nd and the car shoot's out like it was shot from a sling shot.
Props to Ipanema for making the set up available Trust me it's all good and worth every penny. |

Timmo I just picked up some Ipanemas yesterday, and they are Senior Member unbelievable. They are nothing like your ordinary slicks. They are far more high tech than average slicks.

| Those of you who haven't tried Ipanema Tires you are missing out. Best traction I had with any rubber tire, hands down, just stating the facts.
Another fact is I was testing the 45 shore rain or belted radial tires in the rain and still had awesome traction. The other cars pulled off the track and was watching me turn laps like it wasn't raining, seriously even the race director was saying it's wet and slick, throttle control, watch out lot's of water on the track etc. but I was on it. It's freaky weird how those tires hooked up, a must tire to have, should do good on dusty, un treated tracks as well.
The Ipanema radial tires is a freak of a tire and hooked up the whole race, 2nd place used Ipanema slicks which did well but you can't touch the radial on a wet or dusty track, probably a good all around tire, try it gang I'm so sold. You can't beat the traction of those Ipanema tires. |

Tech Master Location: Chile - Southamerica | IPANEMA just rocks ! ... they gave me a lot of improvement in performance.I made the A-Main directly so thats a good start. IPANEMA tyres worked flawlesly on a very hot weather, ended using 45/45 on the main.

I believe that Ipanema tires are the best tires available for GT Class cars. I sell a number of different brand and for me the Ipanema tires are by far the best tire. I have let the guys that race at our local track try my Ipanema tires right off of my car and now 95% of our Gt class is running these tires. We usually run 45 front and 45 rear but some people run 45 front and 40 rear and we have one guy that swears that 40 front and 40 rear is the best combination.
If you have not tried these tires you need to. They will transform your car.

For those that are using the other brands of tires for your IGT cars, you will chunk them in the trash or use them just for practice once you try the Ipanema tires. At the Memphis "Beat the Heat" race, I ran three qualifiers on Saturday on my "other" tires and could only run at an 11 lap pace. I bought a set of Ipanemas, put them on my car Sunday for the last-chance qualifier before the mains, and I improved to a 13 lap pace and set the TQ (TQ was set at 12 laps on Saturday). Ipanema tires are the bomb!!! Their grip is amazing!!
